Rev. Troy Brown Staff Minister/Evangelist   Rev. Troy Brown joined the ministerial team at First Pentecostal Church as a Staff Minister in early 2009.    In London, Ontario, Troy began preaching as a teenager as Youth Pastor and Sunday School teacher. There he met his wife Pamela Leavitt from Picton and they have been married since 1981. They are blessed with three sons, a daughter, and a new grandchild. As an ordained minister with the United Pentecostal Church International, he has been a pastor for 16 years, served on the Youth Committee for Ontario District, and has been Secretary of the Ontario District Sunday School department.   Troy entered the insurance business in 1983 with The Co-operators and achieved success as an agent in London, Guelph, and Burlington. He is a past president of Life Underwriters Association and has held positions as financial advisor, insurance specialist, and sales manager with Sun Life Financial.   Rev. Brown serves as Staff Minister and Evangelist at FPC and is involved in preaching, teaching, singing, and leading worship.   Email: ptbrown@sympatico.ca

Rev. Fred Pollard Staff Minister   Rev. Fred Pollard became a Staff Minister at First Pentecostal Church in November 1997.   Born in Botwood, Nfld, he experienced the miracle healing power of God in his body at an early age. He moved to Ontario with his parents in 1962, where he received his High School diploma. In 1996 he graduated from the Alpha Bible College, Hood River, OR. In 1996 he received his ministerial license with the United Pentecostal Church International.   Fred and his wife Debra were married in 1979. They have been blessed with three children and seven grandchildren. Fred has assisted in St. Catherines, Picton, Tamworth and Belleville and has also ministered in other churches in Ontario and New Brunswick. Together the Pollards worked as musicians, worship leaders and Sunday school teachers until Debra went to be with the Lord in 2009 after many years of illness. Fred continues to preach, teach, and lead worship at FPC.    Email: fdpollard@hotmail.com

Jason Brooks Youth Pastor   Jason Brooks joined the FPC team in the fall of 2007 as the Youth Pastor.   Born in December 1979, Jason spent the first few years of his life growing up in Fredericton, NB where his family began to attend the local United Pentecostal Church. His family moved several times between provinces. After his graduation from high school in Newfoundland, he decided to relocate to Belleville, ON to be reunited with his high school sweetheart Wendy. He furthered his studies at Loyalist College graduating with a Business Administration diploma and began his retail career with Sears Canada in the spring of 2000.   In August of 2000, Jason married the love of his life, Wendy. They have been blessed with two beautiful children, Landon and Jay-Lynn, and are expecting their third child in the summer. Jason’s job with Sears required complete mobility but God’s intention was to keep the family connected with FPC. In summer 2008, he was blessed to accept a position with the new Lowes Store in Belleville.     As youth pastor, he leads an incredible youth program: IGNITE Youth Ministries along with a creative youth team. Jason has a sincere passion for young people and a desire to see their growth and leadership. His ability to connect and his relevant teaching make a direct impact in the lives of the youth.
